Installation Instructions:
1️⃣ Remove the front license plate.
2️⃣ Carefully cut any zip ties holding the start and stop switch cables on the handlebars. Unscrew the clamps and let them hang down.
3️⃣ Locate the connector for the switch on the motorcycle. It is often located near the steering head of the frame but can sometimes be placed under the tank.
4️⃣ Disconnect the connector and remove the switch. Note how the cables are routed.
5️⃣ Clean the connector with electronics cleaning spray.
6️⃣ Loosely mount the new switch on the handlebars in the desired position.
7️⃣ Route the cables in the same way as the original and connect the plug.
8️⃣ Check that the cables have the correct slack by turning the handlebars fully in both directions. Adjust if necessary.
9️⃣ Secure the cables with new zip ties and place them behind the handlebars to protect against damage.
🔟 Reattach the license plate.
