This timeless jacket was introduced in the summer of 2017 and has been one of the most popular leather jackets in Merlin's collection. With the best features of our first generation Alton, Alton II has been updated with improvements made from consumer tests and customer feedback. Alton II is made of a soft and compliant anil leather with a matte finish and has a removable 100g heat feed. The user can now take advantage of a revised solid mesh lining that enables adjustment of elbow protection, a foldable collar for warm conditions, more ventilation front and back of the jacket, longer back length and a changed collar to prevent scraps on the neck. Accompanying D3O® LP1 TRI-VEW PROTECTION FOR CHARGES AND ENCUESS and a pocket for D3O® Viper stealth back protection, approved according to standard CE EN17092, Level AA. Most pockets with a zipper both on jacket and on heat lining, adjustment option at hip and sleeve ends, accordion panels at the back sleeve, through zippers from YKK. Short and long connected zipper for trousers and Euro-Hoop coupling strap.
