Installation Instructions
- Remove the front number plate.
- Carefully cut any zip ties holding the start and stop switch cables on the handlebars. Unscrew the clamps and let them hang down.
- Locate the switch connector on the motorcycle. It is often located near the steering head of the frame but can sometimes be placed under the tank.
- Disconnect the connector and remove the switch. Note how the cables are routed.
- Clean the connector with electronics cleaning spray.
- Loosely mount the new switch on the handlebars in the desired position.
- Route the cables in the same way as the original and connect the connector.
- Check that the cables have the right play by turning the handlebars fully in both directions. Adjust if necessary.
- Secure the cables with new zip ties and place them behind the handlebars to protect against damage.
- Reattach the number plate.
